Rap/ Hip Hop Walking into House of Blues Dallas is always mesmerizing to me because of the random and wonderful acts I have witnessed in this venue. I mean how random is it that I, a die-hard fan of rock and metal, has ended up in a room full of pumped up girls vibin’, groovin’, and then came out Wale and I swear I thought I was at a Spice Girls concert with all the excited shrieks my eardrums experienced. It's really true about what they say, Wale is all that and a bag of chips. Making his return with his 6th album, 'Wow… That’s Crazy', marking nearly 10 years since his official debut, 'Attention Deficit. He speaks about the struggles a hip hop and rap artist has to go through being in an era of what we currently are in, media overload. Recently suffering with ‘imposter syndrome’ after listening to the album you start to vision the struggles this individual has been through during the bad and good phases of his musical career. The album features from artists like Meek Mill, Rick Ross, and Megan Thee Stallion. This was a show I enjoyed a lot, and to wonderful to see what you are missing out on when you don't step out of your comfort zone. Definitely needed a change from watching mosh pits form from a far. :)
